… Celebrates APGA’s Visionary Leadership
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his bold and progressive leadership, describing his historic visit to Anambra State as a testament to the strength of federal-state cooperation and a shared commitment to grassroots-driven development.
Speaking at the high-profile event in Awka, Barrister Ezeokenwa warmly welcomed President Tinubu to the Light of the Nation and praised his readiness to support state-led initiatives that align with national development goals.
“Mr. President’s visit today is not only a show of respect for our people, but a clear endorsement of the type of visionary leadership that Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo represents”, he stated.
The APGA National Chairman was effusive in his praise of Governor Soludo, whom he described as “the pride of APGA, a transformational leader, and a man whose governance philosophy has redefined what purposeful leadership means in Nigeria.”
According to him, under Soludo’s leadership, Anambra has become a reference point for innovative policies, people-oriented projects, and fiscal prudence.
“Prof. Soludo is not just the Governor of Anambra State,” Ezeokenwa declared, “he is the National Leader of our great party, APGA—a party that has remained consistent in its ideology of progressivism, equity, and grassroots empowerment. Today, we are witnessing the fruits of that ideology in the impressive infrastructure, human capital initiatives, and bold reforms unfolding across the state.”
The President, accompanied by high-ranking dignitaries, commissioned multiple landmark projects executed by the Soludo administration. These include the New State Government House, the Solution Fun City, the New Governor’s Lodge—the first in over three decades—the remodeled House of Assembly complex, the Anambra Country Club, and the Emeka Anyaoku Centre for Excellence at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK).
The grand event, held at the newly enhanced Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, brought together members of the National Assembly, members of the State Assembly, members of the Anambra State Executive Council, Mayors of LGAs, APGA party supporters, traditional rulers, community leaders, business executives, market union representatives, and stakeholders from all 179 communities in the state.
A key highlight was the conferment of the prestigious chieftaincy title, Dike Si Mba, on President Tinubu in recognition of his leadership strides and support for subnational development.
