The Chairman of the Association of Registered Freight Forwarders Nigeria, AREFFN, PTML chapter, Emmanuel Ohambele Esq. has has congratulated the Customs Area Controller of the Port and Terminal Multiservices Limited, PTML command, Comptroller Tenny Daniyan and the entire customs officers of the command as the country joins the global Muslim community to mark the Eid Al Adha.
Ohambele who sent in his congratulatory message in a statement he personally signed in Lagos Friday night, also congratulated the members of AREFFN in the chapter and indeed, the entire freight forwarding community.
While rejoicing with them on the occasion of this year’s Eid Al Adha, he appreciated the almighty Allah for another opportunity to witness the event even as he urged them to imbibe the lessons inherent in the season.
The Chairman said, “As we celebrate this sacred season once again, let us emphasize those values that unite us and deemphasize those that divide us. Let us reflect on the lessons of love and sacrifice which this season epitomizes.
“May the lessons of this season make us to be better citizens who are determined to brace the odds and build a nation anchored in peace, love and sacrifice, a nation where both the government and the citizens are devoted to economic prosperity and better life for the masses.
“May this Eid al-Adha bring peace, prosperity, and renewed purpose to you and your loved ones. May our land witness enduring peace and progress. Eid Mubarak!!!”
He, however, congratulated the Customs Area Controller of PTML, Tenny Daniyan for attaining the Two Hundred and Thirty Billion Naira (N230,000,000,000) revenue since the commencement in October 2024, of the Unified Customs Management System also known as B’Odogwu describing it as a no mean feat.
Ohambele, therefore, pledged the support and collaboration of the association to the Customs Area Controller and his officers to enable him build a customs command that delivers on its mandate and becomes the envy of all commands in the Nigeria Customs Service.
