One of the core responsibilities of any state Chief Executive is protection of lives and properties of the citizen. This task is fundamental and non-negotiable in all its ramifications.

No doubt we have global, national, regional and state security challenges but to a great extent, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo’s proposed approach is holistic in tackling the monster called insecurity. Listening to his systematic yet passionate approach towards containing the security onslaught revived my hope of better days ahead if Ndi Anambra will listen to their inner spirit and vote Overdose.

FACTS

  1. There’s hunger in the land;
  2. There’s high level of unemployment; and
  3. Agriculture is relegated to the background.

Dr. Nwankwo understood that there is a correlation between hunger and commission of crimes. He knows that arresting intimidating hunger will drastically reduce commission of crime. He has prioritized food security in his agenda which will see to it that modernized agriculture will be entrenched. He has a broad-based plan to drive Agriculture in which Ndi Anambra will be encouraged to embrace horizontal and vertical agriculture irrespective of profession or vocation. Everyone will be a proud food producer of a sort. It’s a plan never witnessed in the history of Nigeria.

The result of the studies he painstakingly conducted revealed the reasons why people especially young people are in prisons and police custody. The success of this master scheme will automatically reduce restiveness and crimes by over 70%. No society is crime free but his approach will convert criminals to be part of his developmental strides.

His coordinated industrial hubs blueprint will further remove our idle but not lazy energetic youths from the streets and further reduce crime. The security template showed that with this reduction, the cost of fighting common criminals will drastically reduce which will give security agencies leverage to tackle unrepentant criminals and bring sanity to Anambra. The funds saved from fighting crimes will be pushed to other critical areas like education and health.

For him, fighting crime is way beyond spending billions in procuring and replacing security equipment at intervals. It’s more of addressing the remote causes than immediate and gambling strategy. A sane Anambra State will drive all round development and position Anambra as a choice destination.

To activate and benefit from these lofty vision lies on our choice of making a clear decision to vote Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo on November 6, 2021 as the next Executive Governor of Anambra. He has conducted studies, he’s prepared mentally, spiritually, physically and psychologically to take Anambra to the next level.

Yes, a new Anambra is possible with Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo of African Action Congress (AAC)
