Soludo congratulates Peter Obi at 61, Osun State Governor-elect, Adeleke on electoral victory

Anambra state Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, has congratulated the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi who clocked 61 years on Tuesday July 19, 2022.

In a congratulatory message, Governor Soludo described Obi as a good manager of men and resources who gave his best in service to Anambra during his time in office.

“On the occasion of your 61st birthday, I congratulate you on behalf of my family, the government and good people of Anambra State”, Governor Soludo said.

The Governor encouraged Obi to devote the remaining part of his life in service to humanity, praying that God gives him more rewarding years ahead.

In a related development, Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, has congratulated the Osun State Governor-Elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his electoral victory in the just concluded 2022 Osun State gubernatorial election

Recall that the Returning Officer for the election and Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe announced that Senator Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP got a total of 403,371 votes beating the incumbent, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC who got 375,027 votes in a keenly contested race.

Governor Soludo described Adeleke’s victory as the people’s victory and a win for democracy.

He enjoined the Governor-elect to work for the people when he mounts the saddle of leadership.
