I am aware that there were twenty one local government areas in Anambra State and for those of you who were not there, if you were at the Holy Trinity Field that very day, the whole field was filled to capacity. You went there and made us proud and wrote the name of our local government, Orumba North in gold. Assuming you didn’t win any trophy, nobody would have known that Orumba North made it to the inauguration.

“I want to say that it is we the people of Orumba North Local Government that you made proud on that very day and the glory came through you people. In your last outing, you secured third position but I am convinced that in your next outing, you will take first position and it will announce you people. I was proud of you people the day I joined you at the Holy Trinity Field, Onitsha.”

Speaking on over two thousand women who had so far been empowered financially by UBWA, Orumba North chapter, the Transition Committee member urged the association not to relent adding that if they could bring themselves together under one umbrella, they should continue in that direction as it would assist in the development of the local government, Anambra State and the country in general.

“Don’t expect government to do everything for you because government no longer have the capacity to do everything but as you assemble yourselves together like this, you will in this way assist the government in human and community development”, he urged.
