The theme of this year’s celebration is “Enhancing The Total Wellbeing Of The Nigerian Child Through Quality Education and Skills Development.”

In a release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, SP Ikenga Tochukwu and made available to newsmen in Awka, the CP encouraged the good people of Anambra State to sustained the message of peace and make deliberate efforts towards sustaining the existing peace in the state and also stand against acts capable of threatening the national unity and public peace.

The Anambra Police Boss urged parents and guardians to be better role models to their children and wards by creating a deliberate relationship with them, noting that it would help to assess and direct them properly, even as he charged them to always practiced what they preached.

Match pass by school children and Police Children School, presentation of gifts to winners of the Match pass, cutting of the celebration cake by the Governor and his wife, cultural display by the school children among others, formed the highpoints of the occasion.
