Two passengers were today, 6th July, 2022 declared dead following a boat mishap at Ikorodu area of Lagos State. According to a statement issued by the General Manager, Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA), Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel and made available to our correspondent, the two female passengers rescued unconscious and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. “They were, however, later confirmed dead at the hospital”, Emmanuel said.
