Strong indications have emerged that 2019 presidential candidate, Engineer Isaac Babatunde Ositelu might be considering to contest the 2023 polls as his campaign posters were visible in the Niger Delta region. The Lagos State Motor Dealers Association has directed all its members to shut down car lots (auto sales showroom) on Friday, February 25, 2022 beginning from the morning till 12 noon. Troops of 82 Division, Nigerian Army on Wednesday conducted operations to clear criminal havens from where members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN) operate at Azia, Orsumoghu, Lilu forest, Mbosi and Uli in Ihiala and Orsu Local Government Areas of Anambra and Imo States respectively. Nigerian flagged Motor Vessel, MV VIGEO ADEBOLA which was reported to be distressed midstream Federal Ocean Terminal ONNE due to operational error has been moved to a better location clear away from the FOT Onne Channel. MV Vigeo Adebola had a port list on 10th February, 2022 due to the fact that it received potable fresh water from a barge and it received all in the port fresh water tank. Massive energy theft and meter by-pass has been uncovered by the technical team of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution PLC (PHED) at De Choice Shopping Mall, one of the company’s customers in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Prior to this discovery, different technical teams from PHED had visited the customer on several occassions to check the integrity of their meter installation of which they were denied access to the customer’s premises.
