Following the incessant attacks on operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) by smugglers and hoodlums, the Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON), has condemned in strong terms, the heinous act even as it  urged the Federal Government to forestall further attacks. Maritime lawyer, Emeka Akabogu has been awarded a Doctorate degree in International Maritime Law by the IMO-International Maritime Law Institute, Malta. The 650,000bpd Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as well as other modular refineries are expected to be the major drivers of Nigeria’s demand for petroleum products, which is projected to grow massively in the nearest future.
