The Tincan Island command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in conjunction with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted large quantity of pharmaceutical preparations suspected to be hard drugs during routine examination. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved Anambra’s new status a petroleum-bearing state. The approval is contained in a letter to Governor Willie Obiano which the president’s Chief of Staff, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, signed.
