The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and the Nigerian Army have announced a plan to cooperate on the training and retraining of journalists and other public communication practitioners in the country’s security sector. In continuation of its safety awareness campaign program, the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) yesterday embarked on life jacket donation exercise. Four hundred (400) life jackets of various sizes were donated to ferry passengers, school children and boat operators.
