The people and government of Anambra State are “absolutely delighted at the taking off of a Jesuit secondary school in Anambra State”, according to the state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr. C. Don Adinuba. The school, named Gonzaga Jesuit College will start in Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area in September this year. The African Development Bank Group today signed a $400,000 grant agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria to strengthen securities market regulation and broaden market instruments. The funds will go towards strengthening the risk-based supervision framework, regulation of derivatives and green bonds, and build capacity for green finance. Nigeria’s foremost tourism & hospitality company, IrinAjo has signed a concession agreement with the investment arm of Ekiti state government, Fountain Holdings Limited over the Ikogosi Warm Spring Resort for 15 years. The Ikogosi resort which was revived and fully operational during the first tenure of Governor Kayode Fayemi was abandoned and left to rot by the succeeding administration.
