The Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has again reiterated its commitment to all waterways users’ safety in the state. In a statement issued over the weekend by the General Manager, Lagos State Waterways Authority, Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, LASWA said all boat operators must adhere strictly to night travel restrictions placed on all ferry to avoid heavy sanctions. As the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement takes off, the National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Chief Iju Tony Nwabunike has said that he is yet to be convinced that Nigeria is prepared to take part in the continent-wide trade. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced the commencement of the Eto, the Electronic Truck call-up system designed for the management of truck movement and access to and from the Lagos Ports Complex and the Tin Can Island Ports, Apapa, Lagos.
