The Tincan Island command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has seized a total of 13 containers of tramadol and bales of used clothing with a Duty Paid Value (DPV) of three billion, one hundred and thirty-four million, twenty-nine thousand, two hundred and ninety naira (N3, 134,029,290.00). Freight forwarders operating in the Nigerian seaport, airport and land border stations who are yet to register with the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) may soon lose access to the ports across the nation as they will no longer be allowed to carry on their businesses in the ports.
