The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has disengaged a total of 59 officers from service. The President, National Council of Managing Directors of Licensed Customs Agents (NCMDLCA), Mr. Lucky Amiwero has called on the Federal Government to revisit the ban on importation of vehicles through the nation’s land borders with a view to giving the importers 90 days grace period to clear their trapped vehicles at the various borders. Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Ms Hadiza Bala Usman has assured that the Authority will interact more with stakeholders in 2017 so as to be more in tune with happenings at the various ports. Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Ms Hadiza Bala Usman has appealed to the Nigeria Police to intensify efforts to arrest killers of an official of the Lagos State Transport Management Authority (LASTMA); Mr. Surajudeen Bakare, in Apapa late last year.
