The Federal Government on Monday announced a ban on importation of vehicles into the country through the land borders. The National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Mr. Wale Adeniyi who confirmed the development in a press release he issued said the ban covered both new and used vehicles. While stating that the ban was sequel to Presidential directive restricting all vehicle import to Nigerian seaports only, the Customs spokesman disclosed that the ban was to take effect from 1st January, 2017.
