A 40 year woman, identified as Ngozi Nwankwo, was on Thursday killed after some containers on a crane on the premises of SIFAX cargo terminal in the Ijora area fell on some buildings. Also, eight other residents were also injured in the incident, which was said to have occurred at about 5.30 am. Eight ships laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to discharge. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, `Shipping Position,’’ a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos. The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has alleged plans by the terminal operators and the shipping agents to increase charges at the ports.
