President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated the National Economic Council led by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. The council, which has the 36 State Governors and the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria as members, was inaugurated on Monday. The Nigerian Police, Ondo State Command, has confirmed the death of the former Vice- Chancellor (VC) of the Federal University of Technology, Akure ( FUTA), Prof. Albert Ilemobade, who was said to have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen last week.
