The PTML Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Wednesday displayed  intercepted bale of army camouflage uniform suspected to have been imported illegally into the country. It also paraded a suspect who was arrested in connection with the seizures. The Customs Area Controller of the Command, Comptroller Folorunsho Adegoke, who paraded the suspect alongside the seizures said the military camouflage which was concealed in a Volkswagen vehicle, was discovered during routine physical examination by operatives of the command. The Nigerian maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has said that the United States government has confirmed that thirteen more ports facilities in Nigeria were now fully compliant with the International Ships and Ports Facilities Security (ISPS) Code. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) last weekend faulted media reports alleging the failure of the Authority to remit the sum of over 713 billion Naira into the Federation Account since 2009 describing it as misleading.
