NAGAFF President honoured with a professional doctorate

The National President of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Fwdr. (Chief) Eugene Nweke was recently awarded with a professional Doctorate by the Ports and Terminal Management Academyof Nigeria.

At a brief presentation, representative of the Academy, Dr. Samuel
Babatunde said the award was in recognition of Chief Nweke’s invaluable contributions to academics and the growth of the logistics Chain industry,

Dr. Babatunde said the academy has watched with keen interest the various contributions of the new awardee, which are enough to earn him a place in the academic world.

He said Fwdr. Nweke’s various papers should form a sound research block for the growth of academics. In Nigeria are the worlds in general.

In his our contribution, the Founder of NAGAFF, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam congratulated the academy for the giant strides it has made in the area of capacity building.

Dr. Aniebonam used the occasion to call or practitioners in the industry to continue the search for knowledge, instead of wasting their time on frivolities.

For his part, the awardee, Dr. Eugene Nweke thanked the academy and described the gesture as a challenge that will propel him to do more.

Dr. Nweke said his activities in promoting knowledge infrastructure are in furtherance of the dreams of the founding fathers of NAGAFF.

He said this informed the ongoing collaborations between NAGAFF and the Redeemer’s University of Nigeria Rural, which will culminate in the award of International Certificates, International, Diploma and International Higher Diploma deserving graduate after a course of study, which have started at the NAGAFF Headquarters.

The programme has been endorsed both the CRFFN and FIATA
