My glean with a grin in the green land
Here I land with bands of glee
Blessed and prosperous; not cursed, not boisterous
Land that forgather the peaceful and grateful
And many more full to fulfil morality
What a great green formality this country holds
A lot fallacies that she might grow old and fold
But prophesy says: she shall stand firm and bold
This land, occupied by great potentials
Protected by the creator from initial
Oh, what green love I have for my country Nigeria
Ebola and malaria brought bacteria
But we defend her with green criteria
Now America comes to us with their palaba
To seek how we pursued those bacteria
Even help have we rendered to Liberia
Truly, this green deserve her name, ‘Nigeria’
