The celebration had thousands of children in attendance. Tessy, who came tops of the ten children who participated in a dance competition during the celebration, expressed gratitude to Konga for making her dream of owning a scooter come through.

Olatomiwa Akande, Konga’s Head of Public Relations and Brand Management, explained the reason for the support from Konga.

According to her, “Children are our leaders of tomorrow, so we take our time to stock educational and capacity building products, children’s fashion and accessories to aid their academic and social development and ensure that this future is bright. On a day like this, it is important we remember our children in a special way.”

“The feeling of fun, happiness, love and joy that pervades this celebration resonates with our brand as we at Konga are in the business of happiness, not just by catering for all your shopping needs, but by also supporting platforms where people can have fun, be themselves and be happy,” Olatomiwa continued.

She further explained that hundreds of merchants currently sell children’s gifts and items on Konga.com and encouraged parents who were also in the business of trading to take advantage of Konga.com to grow their businesses.

The organizer of the Children’s Day party Nnenna expressed her gratitude to Konga for their unshaken support in helping to make the day a memorable one for the children.
