Comptroller Aliyu takes over Seme Customs command

Comptroller Mohammed Aliyu has finally taken over as the Customs Area Controller of the Seme Border Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) following the redeployment of the former CAC, Comptroller Victor Dimka.

The event which took place yesterday at the command’s conference room saw the exchange of baton between the outgoing CAC and the incoming one.

Speaking shortly after receiving the handover note from the outgone CAC, the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Mohammed Aliyu disclosed that his commitment to the enforcement of the core mandate of the service remained sacrosanct.

Comptroller Aliyu sought the support and cooperation of officers and men of the Command, stakeholders and other relevant security agencies at the border in order to effectively discharge his statutory responsibility of maximum revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and facilitation of legitimate trade.

The new Seme command helmsman pledge to sustain, consolidate and improve on the achievements of his predecessor for effective service delivery.
