The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial zone in the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye has just been arrested by the police on Monday morning.
According to a message sent on Twitter by Senator Dino Melaye himself, he was arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport Abuja on his way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the federal government after checking in.
The Senator said,” I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the federal govt after checking in”.
However, details of the arrest were not clear as at time press time.
