The Director General of Atikulated Agenda 2019, Chief Emeka Kalu has cautioned the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against nominating an unpopular candidate for the coming presidential elections.

Speaking to journalists in a telephone interview, Kalu advised that knowing that the ruling party is incumbent, the PDP must go out of its way to nominate a competent, popular grassroot aspirant popular among the common people to challenge President Muhammadu Buhari.

“No matter what you may think, the truth of the matter is that the ruling party will exploit all its chances to win this elections. For that reason, we also need to bring all our arsenals to work by nominating the best. We cannot afford to lose the coming presidential elections because that will mean doom for Nigeria.

“Atiku remains the person that can take power from the ailing APC. We must look beyond friendship or personal expectations and let’s all work collectively to get power out of this tyrannical government”, Kalu said.

He challenged all supporters of Atiku Abubakar to put more effort in convincing the masses and delegates on why Atiku should be chosen and the consequences of PDP loosing such an important election.

Kalu further affirmed that he is certain Nigerians will do the needful by voting for Atiku once he is nominated.
