Police arrest Nigerien for defiling 10 year old girl

…Arrest woman for abusing 14 year old girl

The Lagos State Police command has arrested one Lukman Haruna from Niger Republic for allegedly defiling a 10 year old girl by inserting his fingers into her private parts.

The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, Mr. Imohimi Edgal who made this disclosure while parading the suspect before newsmen in Lagos stated that the act was brought to the fore by one Mrs. Abali when she saw stains of blood around the girl’s genital region.

While adding that the command’s Gender Unit on 2nd November, 2018, began investigation into a case, the Lagos Police Chief however said that the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigation was concluded.

Similarly, the Police in Lagos has arrested a woman who was in the habit of locking her 14-year-old house help in the toilet anytime she was going out.

The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, Mr. Edgal a concerned neighbour reported the case of the abuse of the underage on the 4th of November, 2018 at about 1.30pm.

“The cookie however crumbled yesterday 4th November, 2018 when the madam locked her up in the toilet as usual and went to church.

“Based on complaint, the DPO of Ipaja Division visited the house at Baruwa Estate and forced the door open to rescue the victim.

“The child narrated her ordeal since she started living with the suspect. On close examination by the command’s Gender personnel, wounds were seen all over the victim’s body. Suspect will be charge to court soon”, he stated.
