The Bring Back Buhari Maritime Campaign Group (BBBMCG) has struck a partnership deal with Oodua Maritime Forum aimed at ensuring that Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is re-elected to continue as President beyond 2019.

Rising from a meeting jointly chaired by the National Chairman of BBBMCG, Mr. Uchechukwu Aniezechukwu and the President of Oodua Maritime Forum, Chief Oye Ariyo, the groups agreed that based on facts available on ground and following a research conducted by the groups, President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo remained the best candidates for the 2019 general election and adopted by both organizations.

The two groups agreed to work harmoniously for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in principle pending the outcome of a wider consultation to be conducted by the principles officers of Odua Maritime Forum.

The groups at the meeting agreed in principle that the position of BBBMCG would be evenly spread among all the ethnic groups in the maritime sector to give a sense of unity and oneness to all.

Meanwhile, the communiqué which was endorsed by Taiwo Hassan, Senior Special Adviser Media and Publicity BBBMCG said that another meeting was scheduled between the executives of BBBMCG and those of the Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners and Arewa Maritime Group respectively for Thursday next week.
