A group known as Bring Back Buhari Maritime Campaign Group (BBBMCG) has pledged to work assiduously for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari come 2019 Presidential election.

The group in a communiqué signed by its National Chairman, Mr. Uchechukwu Aniezechukwu and National Coordinator, Alhaji Lameen Aliyu pledged to be involved in specifically and clearly enumerating and promoting vigorously by its coordinators in the 36 states and Federal Capital Territory , the achievements of Mr. President in various sectors of the economy.

It said that it would clearly avoid smear campaign against the persons and political parties of Mr. President’s opposition, adding that it shall focus on the strategic and international activities of the current administration to ensure that Nigerians were not short changed.

According to the group, it shall engage the young Nigerians through its new media campaign by stating in clear terms the giant strides of President Buhari in securing their future not only in his youth empowerment programs but also in stopping Nigerians who were hell bent on milking the nation dry by corruptly enriching themselves through the social media tools.

It continued,”Organising various symposia in all the sub-groups, socio-cultural groups in the industry, institutions of higher learning where our previous corporate social responsibilities have taken us, markets, motor parks, terminals in the maritime and aviation sector around the nation.

“To educate the people that a call to support reforms program of Mr. President, although initially difficult in the next four years will translate to a call to  make Nigeria great again.

“We shall avoid conventional sharing of handbills but use the handbills produced to marshal out our points when enumerating the conscious steps taken by Mr. President to salvage our nation during our one-on one campaign which shall begin before the end of the year.

“We shall mobilise various maritime stakeholders and commencing with visitations that will snowball into campaign rallies in our national ports, markets and schools before our grand rally before the elections”.
