The awardees were presented with a bus, a Kia brand of car, a Salti Lady motorcycle and generating set.

Said Soludo, “This is a commendable feat, coincidentally coming at a time when my administration is paying particular attention to teachers and teaching in Anambra schools.

“I’ve always said that if one wants to predict the future of any society, one should look at the quality of teachers and teaching in that society. This is why we are firing on all cylinders to give Anambra children a future, enabling their global competitiveness. The ongoing rigorous process of recruitment of thousands of teachers in the state give credence to the efforts of my administration in that regard.”

“The Anambra spirit is that of excellence. Ndi Anambra are shinning stars anywhere they find themselves. As people in the teaching profession, you’ve succeeded in marking yourselves as true Ambassadors, both for the noble profession and Anambra State.”

The Governor assured of his administration’s commitment in doing more to reposition the state’s education sector.

“I equally congratulate the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh and her team for the good job”, he concluded.
