The Centre for Marine Surveyors Nigeria has identified the regulatory agencies involved in regulating Marine Surveyors as key to the development of the Marine Surveying industry in Nigeria. The Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘A’ Ikeja has raised its anti-smuggling bar through a re-invigorated methodology, aimed at suppressing smuggling. The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said that it was awaiting the consultant’s report on the feasibility and viability of linking the Tincan Island Ports to the rail tracks for the easy evacuation of cargoes from the ports.
