The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has dismissed Mr. Cyriacus Njoku’s appeal challenging the eligibility of President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the March 28 Presidential election. Justice Abubakar Yahaya, who delivered the unanimous judgment of the five-man Panel on Tuesday, held that Jonathan was qualified to seek for another term of office because he did not participate in the two previous elections.
